Level I Funding

Overview

Level I funds are intended to provide support for:

• the development of new, innovative, cutting-edge research projects.
• administrative support to hold meetings (including travel).
• paying outside consultants.

On those occasions where proposed research will involve either primary data collection or the use of secondary data, investigators will be expected to prepare and submit the appropriate requests for IRB approval of research involving human or animal participants (whichever is appropriate to the project).
