  1. Africana Research Center

    Promotes research and scholarship that will enhance the understanding and lives of African Americans, Africans, and Afro-Caribbean peoples.
  2. Center for Human Development and Families in Diverse Contexts

    Promotes training, research, and scholarship in the study of families in diverse contexts.
  3. Child Study Center (CSC)

    Seeks to explore the interface between research and clinical practice with children and families.
  4. Methodology Center

    Focuses on interdisciplinary research on methodological issues.
  5. Prevention Research Center

    Promotes the well-being of children and youth by reducing high-risk behaviors and poor outcomes.
  6. Social Science Research Institute (SSRI)

    Promotes research to solve complex social problems. It includes 5 centers and institutes.
