Collaborative Connections

The CYFC recognizes the increased need for interdisciplinary activity in developing solutions to pressing issues facing children, youth, and families. The CYFC brings together more than 350 faculty, representing a wide range of disciplines (including human development, the liberal arts, education, agriculture, medicine, and others).

The most exciting thing that happens at the CYFC is the way in which inter-disciplinary research groups come together and evolve. Through fostering and facilitating inter-disciplinary networking, research programs, workshops and conferences, and University-community partnerships the CYFC always seeks to make collaborative connections.
