Mission & Goals

Mission

The Children, Youth, and Families Consortium promotes interdisciplinary networking, provides pre-award seed funds and consultation, sponsors workshops and research networks, and provides strategic leadership.

Goals

1. To support basic and applied interdisciplinary research on topics relevant to promoting the well-being of children, youth, and families
2. To encourage and develop faculty expertise and research proficiency in children, youth, and families issues
3. To support the integration of research and outreach to maximize the utility of practices and policies directed at children, youth, families, and communities
4. To promote the responsible application of Penn State resources to the benefit of society through collaborative relationships with communities
