Level 2 Funding ($5000-$20,000)
Support for new interdisciplinary research, training, conferences or other activities.
Co-Funding for New Faculty Hires
50% salary and start up for faculty with research focusing on children, youth, and family issues.

SSRI WORKSHOP SERIES
The Essential Elements of Successful Grantsmanship

Each semester, SSRI offers workshops to assist social science faculty interested in obtaining external funding. Dates for Fall 2008 semester workshops will be announced in September.

CYFC

The CYFC was created to encourage and develop faculty expertise and to promote the kind of interdisciplinary collaboration that could place Penn State in a position of national and international leadership, demonstrating the role a land-grant university could and should play in addressing critical social issues and serving community needs.

The CYFC promotes research, outreach, and teaching to address critical social issues in the area of children, youth, and families.
